Where this comes from

The official form is published by pi.nsw.gov.au; this page is a completion guide. Last checked on 2026-10-23.

When to use it

Use when a motor accidents merit review in the Personal Injury Commission requires the approved schedule of earnings. The applying-online page says the parties must attach it to all merit review applications.

Used for these tasks

Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.

How AI may be used

The tool may generate a working schedule of earnings from wage records on the file, because PIC13 paragraph 11 permits that, and the lawyer checks every figure before it is attached.

AI may

  • Build a working schedule of pre-accident weekly earnings, deductible amounts and amounts able to be earned from payslips and payment summaries already on the file
  • Split the rows into the first 13 weeks, weeks 14 to 78, and the period after week 78
  • List dependants named in documents already on the file, with date of birth and relationship

AI must not

  • Must not invent a figure that is not in a record on the file
  • Must not write a statement of the injured person's evidence into the schedule
  • Must not sign the schedule or lodge it
  • Must not treat the schedule as a statutory declaration

The lawyer checks

  • Every dollar figure is checked against the source record before the schedule is attached
  • Part 1 is the weekly benefits in dispute. Part 2 is dependants. Part 3 follows sections 3.6, 3.7 and 3.8 of the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017 as the form labels those columns
  • The filing party or representative signs the form. The PDF is marked v0.1. The filename on the Commission site includes Aug23. The PDF text does not print a month
  • The privacy notice on the form refers to section 58 of the Personal Injury Commission Act 2020 and to disclosure to SIRA
  • PIC13 paragraph 11(a) permits generation of a schedule of earnings, subject to paragraph 10 on material that must stay inside a controlled platform
  • Health, wage and other personal information stays in a firm-controlled tool. Check confidentiality under ASCR r 9 and APP 11, and whether any breach is notifiable under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
