How AI is used
Compare the injury date, mechanism, body parts and time off work in the Queensland notice or application the lawyer names with the medical chronology and the payroll. List each inconsistency and each date the records do not support. Do not choose which date is right, and do not write any verification.
What the lawyer must review
  • Decide which inconsistencies are innocent and which need a further statement.
  • If the approved form requires a statutory declaration, the tool writes nothing in it.
  • Check the notice period for that form before the description is lodged.
  • Use a firm-controlled tool. Check ASCR r 9, APP 11 and any notifiable breach.

The work product

Forum. Queensland personal injury notices: PIPA, motor accident, or workers' compensation

Produce. A reconciliation table for the lawyer, with unsupported dates listed and no verification text.

Have ready. The notice or application the lawyer names; Medical chronology; Payroll or payslips; Date a law practice was first instructed, if known.

Example of the limit. Illustrative example: The draft notice says the fall was on 2 March 2024 and that work stopped the same day. The discharge summary says 2 March 2025 and the payslips continue for two weeks. The table lists both dates. It does not rewrite the notice.

Stop and hand it back when

  • The form type is not identified.
  • A verification section would have to be filled to complete the table.

Health, wage and benefit records stay in a firm-controlled tool. Check ASCR r 9, APP 11, and whether a disclosure is notifiable under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 s 9(1B) says the approved form may require some or all of the notice to be verified by statutory declaration. Part 1 is due on the earlier of 9 months after the incident (or after symptoms first appear, if they were not immediate) and 1 month after a law practice is first instructed and the proposed defendant is identified.

If the product is used in a Supreme Court submission, Practice Direction 5 of 2025 requires the named practitioner to verify every reference. District Court Practice Direction 12 of 2025 is the matching direction opened for that court.
