US power purchase conditions checklist
Conditions checklist for a power sale, covering credit support, permits and interconnection as commercial items, and asking the lawyer whether a Commission filing is required. It does not invent a queue rule.

When to use it
Use when a power purchase term sheet needs a closing list. Do not use it as an interconnection application or as a market-registration form.
Used for these tasks
- Draft or review a royalty, streaming or offtake agreement
- Assemble the market registration and connection application pack
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
Yellow: the lawyer marks which conditions the contract requires and whether any filing is a statutory one.
AI may
- List credit support, insurance, permits and interconnection as blanks the contract must fill.
- Ask, as a separate question, whether section 824 or section 824d requires a filing.
- Point market registration to the lawyer. No queue rule is stated.
AI must not
- Do not complete an interconnection application or a Commission filing.
- Do not name a regional transmission organisation, a tariff or a queue position.
- Do not mark a condition as satisfied.
The lawyer checks
- Take the conditions from the term sheet and the long-form draft, not from a standard list presented as law.
- Decide who holds the interconnection right.
- If the sale is at wholesale in interstate commerce, read sections 824 and 824d before treating the price as outside them.
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
