ART checklist before Generative AI material is lodged
The Tribunal's own checklist questions, asked before material is lodged, sent, presented or relied on. The checklist says it is a guide only and creates no new obligations. Read it with the Practice Direction.

Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may set out the Tribunal's questions with a blank answer. The lawyer answers each one. The checklist creates no new obligation. The live task is Yellow.
AI may
- Lay out each question from the checklist with a blank for the answer
- Point from a question back to the Practice Direction paragraph that deals with it
AI must not
- Must not treat a ticked checklist as compliance
- Must not add obligations the checklist does not contain. It says it creates none
- Must not answer the evidence questions. Those are the witness's and the lawyer's
The lawyer checks
- Each question is answered by reference to the Practice Direction, not by the checklist alone
- The final document reflects the person's own evidence, submission or instructions
- Disclosure and explanation can be given if the direction or the Tribunal requires them
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
