Anti-doping case timeline record
A timeline of the dates Sport Integrity Australia's anti-doping page tells an athlete to record: contact, any adverse analytical finding, a provisional suspension, and when legal advice was sought. It does not decide a violation.

- Checklist. Steps or checks to work through and tick off.

- Green The tool writes the first draft inside a template you have already tested. You check it. Without that test, first drafting starts at Yellow.

- Status
- Maintained. Checked on 22 October 2026 against the authority it cites, for Australia.

When to use it
Use when an athlete or support person has been contacted about a possible anti-doping rule violation and the dates need to be kept in one place. Do not use it as a response, a submission, or a list of the violations. The handbook and the page that names the 11 rules were not opened.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may enter the dates the person supplies for contact, a provisional suspension and a request for legal advice. It does not decide that a violation occurred or draft a response.
AI may
- Enter the date Sport Integrity Australia made contact, and the date of any adverse analytical finding notice, if the person has that date
- Record whether the sport imposed a provisional suspension, the date, and a short note of the terms the person says they were given
- Record the date independent legal advice was sought
- Mark the handbook as a document to be read, without summarising it
AI must not
- Must not name the 11 violations, or say that 7 of them apply to this person. That page was not opened
- Must not decide that a rule was broken, or predict a sanction
- Must not draft a submission, a response, or an explanation of a test
- Must not invent a deadline. The page says every case differs and the time varies
The lawyer checks
- The dates were taken from the contact and the suspension notice, not from memory alone
- A provisional suspension is recorded as counting towards a final sanction only if the person complies with its terms, which is what the page says, and only as a note
- The handbook has been read before anyone describes the steps between an adverse analytical finding and a return to training
- No response is sent from this timeline
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
