Where this comes from
The official form is published by courts.qld.gov.au; this page is a completion guide. Last checked on 2026-10-23.
When to use it
Use when a personal injury client who is liable for party costs, or the party entitled, disputes items in a Form 60A costs statement in a Queensland proceeding.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
The tool may list the items the lawyer has marked for objection, and it writes nothing in the notice that is served.
AI may
- List the costs-statement items the lawyer has flagged, with the statement date and item numbers
AI must not
- Must not write the objection, the reduction, the reasons, or the totals
- Must not sign the notice or serve it
- Must not decide whether an item is fair and reasonable
The lawyer checks
- The notice answers a Form 60A costs statement and is served within 21 days of service of that statement
- Each objection has a number, the item, the reduction and the reasons
- The party or the solicitor signs
- The court name in the heading matches the proceeding
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
