When to use it
Use when an employer wants a public statement next to its gender pay gap on the Agency data explorer. The statement is voluntary. It is not the Executive Summary or the Industry Benchmark Report.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may place figures from a Workplace Gender Equality Agency report the principal supplies under the progress heading, each figure labelled with the report name.
AI may
- Insert the employer name and the reporting year
- Copy a pay-gap figure from a report the principal has marked, and name that report beside the figure
AI must not
- Must not explain why a gap exists
- Must not add an action or a target the principal has not written
- Must not say the Workplace Gender Equality Act requires this statement
The lawyer checks
- The statement is voluntary, and a new link is supplied every year
- Sharing the Executive Summary and the Industry Benchmark Report with the governing body is treated as the reporting obligation the guide describes, separately from this statement
- The link is uploaded to the reporting portal one week before publication, on the date the Agency has notified
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
