When to use it
Use before anyone files, when the question is which body to approach about sexual harassment in connection with work. Every legal proposition in it is from the Ombudsman's page. The Fair Work Act and the Sex Discrimination Act were not opened.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may insert the dates the principal supplies and may leave every forum row blank for the principal's election.
AI may
- Insert the date the principal gives as the last alleged incident and count two years from it
- List the forums in the order on the Ombudsman's page
AI must not
- Must not elect a forum
- Must not draft the application or the complaint narrative
- Must not add a time limit the page does not state
The lawyer checks
- The two-year period is read as the page states it: applications to the Commission usually need to be made within two years after the alleged sexual harassment last happened
- A stop order is available only if the Commission is satisfied of the three matters the page lists
- State and territory anti-discrimination and work health and safety statutes are not cited, because they were not opened
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
