Checklist
- The Workplace Injury Commission page says conciliation is an essential step before arbitration or court. An Application for Conciliation is sent within 60 days of the agent's or self-insurer's decision. A late application can be considered if a reason is given. The lawyer supplies that reason.
- The same page says a further conciliation of a dismissed dispute uses the Application for Further Conciliation after a Certificate of Dismissal.
- The Workers Compensation Independent Review Service page says that service reviews certain reviewable decisions that conciliation has not resolved. No time limit for that review was opened. Do not add one.
- Attach only documents the lawyer has selected. The outline does not say the decision was wrong.
