From the workplace file, list the posters that are present and the statute named on each. Do not decide that a particular poster is required.
What the lawyer must review
The Department of Labor's poster page says posting requirements vary by statute and that not every employer is covered by each statute. It gives the example that some small businesses are not covered by the Family and Medical Leave Act and need not post that Act's notice. The same page says every private, federal, State, and local government employer employing any employee subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act must post the Employee Rights Under the Fair Labor Standards Act poster, and it points to 29 U.S.C. § 211 and 29 C.F.R. § 516.4. Those two instruments were not opened as their own pages. You use the Department's Poster Advisor for the workplace in front of you, and you decide which posters that workplace must display. There is no single national information statement handed to every new hire on the page that was opened.
