How AI is used
Build a dated chronology from the documents the lawyer marks, and a worksheet of the 180-day, 300-day and 45-day periods counted from the date the lawyer identifies. Write no charge and no application.
What the lawyer must review
You choose the date the period runs from, and whether the 300-day period applies. The EEOC states a 180-day period, extended to 300 days if a state or local agency enforces a law on the same basis, and, for a federal employee, contact with an agency EEO counselor within 45 days. You write anything that will be filed or signed. There is no national unfair-dismissal form. Model Rule 1.6: do not put the personnel file into a public tool.

Checklist

  1. Check the current court or regulator requirements, prescribed form and attachments for the intended document and filing.
  2. Verify dates, people and sequence against contemporaneous records. Preserve uncertainty and identify gaps or conflicting accounts.
  3. Confirm the output against the client’s instructions and the complete relevant source material, including omissions or contradictions.
  4. Resolve exceptions and record the responsible lawyer’s approval of the exact output and intended use.
