How AI is used
From the internal review notice and the documents already lodged, list the decision, the date notice was given, the review body named on the notice, and the documents the lawyer marks. Do not write the grounds and do not write anything that is lodged.
What the lawyer must review
  • The lawyer decides whether an external review is open and writes anything that is lodged.
  • Count the time limit from the notice, using only a period the opened page states.
  • Do not treat a recognition-payment review as authority to review every payment type.
  • Do not file a tribunal review in a State whose opened law does not provide one.

Checklist

  1. Take the start date from the notice, and apply only a time limit printed on the page or in the section opened.
  2. Confirm the decision is one the external reviewer can hear. In New South Wales that is a recognition payment after internal review, on the pages opened.
  3. Confirm the grounds were written by the lawyer and that no generated sentence is in the document that is lodged.
  4. Record whether the original decision keeps operating. In Queensland, s 124(4) says the internal review does not stay it.
