Table the dates, the charges or testimony, and the discharge or other action the documents state. Write no charge and no paragraph of any paper that will be filed.
What the lawyer must review
29 U.S.C. § 158(a)(4): it is an unfair labor practice for an employer to discharge or otherwise discriminate against an employee because he has filed charges or given testimony under this subchapter. You decide whether the facts meet that paragraph. You write any charge. This is not a general-protections application and it is not an unfair-dismissal application. Sections 158(a)(1) and 158(a)(3) were not used. You open them before you rely on them. Formal Opinion 512: the table is not the charge.
