Key facts

- How AI is used
- List the aircraft or part, and the horsepower if the file states it. Mark horsepower as missing if it does not. Do not say the interest will have priority and do not prepare the conveyance.
- What the lawyer must review
- You prepare the conveyance. Section 49.1 applies the recording part to conveyances affecting title to, or an interest in, an aircraft registered under 49 U.S.C. §§ 44101 to 44104, a specifically identified aircraft engine of 550 or more rated takeoff horsepower or the equivalent, a specifically identified propeller able to absorb 750 or more rated takeoff shaft horsepower, and an engine, propeller, appliance, or spare part maintained by or for an air carrier certificated under 49 U.S.C. § 44705 at a designated location. Section 49.11 provides that, to be eligible for recording, a conveyance must be delivered to the FAA Aircraft Registry by a means and in a form acceptable to the Administrator, including electronic or digital forms compatible with the Registry's systems. The section does not state priority. No priority rule was opened. You decide whether the object is one § 49.1 names.
