Build a small-unmanned-aircraft compliance register from Part 107
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Set up a register whose columns are the Part 107 items: remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating, aeronautical-knowledge recency under § 107.65, aircraft registration, and any waiver under §§ 107.200 and 107.205. Enter only certificate numbers and dates the lawyer supplies.
- What the lawyer must review
- The column set is checked once against 14 CFR Part 107 and then reused. Section 107.12 requires a remote pilot certificate with a small UAS rating to manipulate the controls, unless the person is under the direct supervision of a remote pilot in command who can take immediate control, or the Administrator authorises a foreign airman under § 107.12(c). Section 107.13 requires registration. Enter a certificate number only from an FAA record you have already matched. The register does not decide that a certificate is current.
