Quote the allegations on an aviation show-cause notice
Key facts
- Human involvement
- RedLawyer-led
- How AI is used
- Quote each allegation from the notice the lawyer supplies, and copy a regulation number only where the notice prints it. Do not add a regulation and do not write the response.
- What the lawyer must review
- You write the response. No show-cause or enforcement-hearing procedure was opened, so you do not state a time to answer unless the notice itself prints one. Part 107 states operating limits for a small unmanned aircraft, including the groundspeed and altitude limits in § 107.51. Those limits are not a script for answering a notice, and they are not a penalty schedule. Model Rule 3.3(a)(1) forbids a knowing false statement of fact or law in the response you file. Model Rule 1.4(b) is the explanation you give the certificate holder. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to verify any generated answer against the notice and the regulation you open.
