Line the evidence up against a VA disability rating
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each condition in the decision, the percentage the decision states, and the medical evidence that mentions that condition. Do not propose a new percentage.
- What the lawyer must review
- The Department of Veterans Affairs states that a disability rating is expressed as a percentage representing how much the disability decreases overall health and ability to function, and that VA uses the rating to determine the disability compensation rate and how much money is paid each month. You decide whether the percentage should change. Do not apply a combined-ratings formula, a bilateral factor or a schedule of ratings that you have not opened. Formal Opinion 512: the list of evidence is not the advice.
