Index the document bundle the lawyer has already selected
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- One row per document the lawyer has marked for the bundle. Columns are the date on the document, its name, and its page count. Do not add a document and do not describe what it proves.
- What the lawyer must review
- Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(b)(1) is the relevance and proportionality limit on discovery. You have already chosen the documents. The index copies date, name, and length. Model Rule 1.6 keeps the bundle out of a public tool. The columns do not change from case to case.
