Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may complete this validated template for each participant from their plan, the agreed supports and the provider's price list; the provider's lawyer checks the template at setup, and the participant agrees the terms.
AI may
- Fill the schedule of supports from the participant's plan and the provider's price list
- Produce the agreement in plain language or an Easy Read version of the same terms
- Check that the agreement's end date is not later than the plan reassessment date
AI must not
- Must not add charges, cancellation fees or terms that are not in the validated template or agreed with the participant
- Must not set a price above the provider's price list or any applicable price limit
- Must not record the participant's agreement or signature for them
The lawyer checks
- The template has been checked at setup against the NDIA guidance, the Code of Conduct and the provider's registration obligations and price arrangements
- The cancellation and ending clauses are fair and clearly explained, and comply with the Australian Consumer Law unfair contract terms rules
- Complaints, privacy and conflict of interest clauses match the provider's actual policies
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
