Use when ASQA has issued a performance assessment report or statement of reasons finding non-compliance, or has offered an agreement to rectify on a compliance resolution pathway. Match the response to the pathway and the date ASQA has set.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may build the table that pairs each finding with a document already on the file. The lawyer decides the cause, what the provider will promise, and which evidence is relevant enough to send.
AI may
- Pair each numbered finding with the document the provider says answers it
- List findings that have no document yet
- Check that the draft states a cause, an action and the evidence to be submitted, which is what ASQA says an agreement to rectify must include
AI must not
- Must not admit a breach the provider has not instructed
- Must not attach a large pack of documents that do not answer the finding
- Must not promise a systemic change the provider cannot finish in the period ASQA has allowed
The lawyer checks
- The response answers the findings in the report or statement of reasons, not a different set of standards
- If an agreement to rectify is offered, it explains the cause, the actions, and the evidence that will be submitted at the end
- The period is the one in ASQA's letter. The page's 20 days and up to three months are not copied over a different date
- Irrelevant material is removed before sending
Method: how the Green, Yellow and Red levels are decided. This is guidance for planning, not legal advice.
