Record approved amendments to a home purchase contract
Key facts
- Human involvement
- RedLawyer-led
- How AI is used
- List the changes the lawyer has already written, in the lawyer's words, with the contract clause each change affects. Do not write a new clause.
- What the lawyer must review
- You write every amendment that will be signed. Model Rule 1.4(b) requires an explanation sufficient for the client to decide whether to agree. Comment 8 to Rule 1.1 and Formal Opinion 512 govern the use of a tool to compare the draft with the signed contract. No national statute of special conditions was opened. If the amendment touches a California residential disclosure, § 1102(c) still makes a waiver of that article void, and you decide whether the amendment is a waiver.
