How AI is used
For each citation in the draft, record whether it appears in a source the lawyer supplies. Flag a citation that does not. Do not rewrite the filing.
What the lawyer must review
You decide what is filed. Rule 11(b) is your certification, by presenting the paper, that it is not for an improper purpose, that the legal contentions are warranted, and that the factual contentions have evidentiary support or are specifically identified as likely to have it. Model Rule 3.3 is the duty of candor. Formal Opinion 512 warns against a citation you have not checked. No court's generative-tool order was opened. You open the order of the court that will receive the paper. A citation that is not in a source you supply stays out.
