- How AI is used
- List the allegations, the rules the notice cites, and the sanctions the model rule names. Do not predict an outcome or draft the advice letter.
- What the lawyer must review
- You write the advice. Model Rule 8.4 defines professional misconduct. Model Rule for Lawyer Disciplinary Enforcement 10, as indexed by the ABA, covers types of sanctions, conditions, factors, and the public nature of sanctions. The text of Rule 10 was not opened for this check, so do not state a sanction range from the model. Rule 11(D) provides for a hearing, findings, and review by the board and the court, with suspension or disbarment imposed by the court if the court does not otherwise review the matter. The adopted state rule controls, including the standard of proof. Model Rule 8.5 decides which jurisdiction's conduct rules apply. Formal Opinion 512: a generated prediction is not a competent opinion under Model Rule 1.1.
