Set out whether an injury was occasioned by a want of ordinary care

- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- From the pleaded negligence and the harm, build a table with a blank for the facts on each question the lawyer names. Do not decide causation and do not write the pleading.
- What the lawyer must review
- There is no national negligence code. California Civil Code § 1714(a) makes a person responsible for an injury occasioned to another by a want of ordinary care or skill in the management of property or person, except so far as the injured person has, willfully or by want of ordinary care, brought the injury on himself or herself. Civil Code § 3333 measures tort damages as the amount which will compensate for all the detriment proximately caused, whether it could have been anticipated or not, except where the Code expressly provides otherwise. You decide factual cause and any proximate-cause limit the forum adds, and you write the pleading. Do not import the two-limb questions in the Civil Liability Act 2002 (NSW).
