Index a provider file against Section 504
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each policy, notice, and service description in the file, and the page. Do not decide that Section 504 applies and do not score the file as an audit.
- What the lawyer must review
- Section 794 of Title 29 prohibits exclusion, denial of benefits, or discrimination solely by reason of disability in a program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance, and in a program or activity conducted by an Executive agency or the Postal Service. The lawyer decides whether the provider receives that assistance or is such an agency. This is not an NDIS registration audit. Formal Opinion 512 and Model Rule 1.6 apply. Medical records stay out of a public tool.
