List word differences between a charter and the form supplied with it
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- For each clause that differs, copy the charter words and the form words the lawyer supplied, and the clause number. Do not fill a blank from memory and do not say which text should prevail.
- What the lawyer must review
- The comparison is textual and only between the two documents in the file. The Carriage of Goods by Sea Act does not apply to charter parties. If a bill of lading is issued under the charter, that bill is a separate question and is not decided by marking charter differences. No standard-form clauses were opened, so a missing form is not reconstructed. Opinion 512.
