From the roster the venue supplies, list each on-premises server and manager, the employment start date, the training date, the examination date, and the certification expiry the records show. What the lawyer must review
The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control states that, effective 1 July 2022, responsible beverage service training is required for on-premises alcoholic-beverage servers and their managers. A server or manager must register in the RBS Portal, take training from an approved RBS training provider, and pass the ABC Alcohol Server Certification exam within 30 days of confirmed training, and must be certified within 60 days of the first date of employment. Certifications are valid for three years and must be renewed before they expire. The Department ties the programme to Assembly Bill 1221 (2017) and states that Assembly Bill 82 also bears on the requirement, and that the regulations are in California Code of Regulations, title 4, article 25. This page does not set a rule for off-premises sales or for any other state. The Twenty-first Amendment leaves alcoholic-beverage regulation to the states.
