Index the notice, the permit conditions cited and the dates. Write no paragraph of the response or of any appeal.
What the lawyer must review
Under 27 U.S.C. § 204, the Secretary may, after notice and an opportunity for hearing, revoke a basic permit or suspend it if the permittee has wilfully violated a condition. For a first violation of the conditions, the permit is subject to suspension only. The permit may be annulled if it was procured through fraud, misrepresentation or concealment of a material fact. An appeal is taken by filing in the court of appeals. The lawyer writes the response. A state retail license has its own disciplinary procedure. Open that statute. Do not apply an Australian disciplinary provision.
