Checklist

  1. If the final order says the interim order continues until service, the interim order ends when the final order is served. If the final order says nothing of that kind, the interim order ends when the final order is made.
  2. A refusal ends the interim order at the refusal. Revocation ends it at the revocation. Withdrawal of the application ends it at the withdrawal.
  3. The section states no default number of days. Do not add one.
  4. The note about a revived, varied or suspended order under the Family Law Act is 21 days or the end of the interim order, whichever is earlier. Those Family Law Act sections were not opened.
