List the student named on the Form I-20, the school named, the program start date printed, and whether a designated school official's signature appears. Do not say the form was properly issued.
What the lawyer must review
8 C.F.R. § 214.3(k) requires a designated school official of an SEVP-certified school to sign any completed Form I-20 issued for a prospective or continuing student or a dependent. A form issued by a certified school system must state which school the student will attend. The official responsible for admission must have accepted the prospective student for enrollment in a full course of study. That is one of the conditions on the page, not a complete list. Section 214.3(g)(1) requires the school to keep specified records for each F-1 or M-1 student to whom it has issued a Form I-20 while the student attends and until the school reports that the student is no longer pursuing a full course of study, and to keep a record of having complied for at least three years after that. You decide whether this form meets the section.
