How AI is used
List the court, the date of entry, the sum the judgment states, and the land described in the file. Do not prepare a recording and do not say a lien exists.
What the lawyer must review
You decide whether anything may be recorded, and you prepare it. Rule 69(a)(1) says a money judgment is enforced by a writ of execution unless the court directs otherwise, and that the procedure on execution accords with the procedure of the state where the court is located, except where a federal statute governs. Section 1963 lets a judgment of a court of appeals, district court, bankruptcy court, or the Court of International Trade be registered by a certified copy in another district when it is final by appeal or by expiration of the time for appeal, or when the entering court orders registration for good cause. A judgment in favor of the United States may be registered any time after entry. A registered judgment has the same effect as a judgment of the registering district. The sentence on registering a satisfaction refers to a district in which the judgment is a lien. It does not create that lien. No state recording or lien statute was opened. You open that statute before anything is lodged with a recorder.
