Test an assessor's report against the record
Key facts

- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- For each opinion in the report, list the facts the report cites and the page of the loaded record that contains the same fact, or mark the fact as not found in that record. Write no question to the assessor and no opinion of your own.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide whether the report can be used. In federal court, Rule 702 permits opinion testimony by a person qualified by knowledge, skill, experience, training or education when the proponent shows it is more likely than not that the specialized knowledge will help the trier of fact, the testimony is based on sufficient facts or data, it is the product of reliable principles and methods, and the opinion reflects a reliable application of those principles and methods to the facts of the case. This comparison does not make that showing. Opinion 512 requires you to check a tool's extract against the document. A dependency hearing in state court follows that court's evidence rule.
