Where this comes from
The official form is published by nswlrs.com.au; this page is a completion guide. Last checked on 2026-10-18.
When to use it
Use for a NSW transfer that requires a notice of sale (NOS), or a Queensland transfer that needs the Form 24 property information. Most notices are now captured in the ELNO workspace; the paper and online forms apply to dealings outside it.
Used for these tasks
Each task page says how far AI may help with the task and what the lawyer must review.
How AI may be used
AI may extract the sale details from the contract into the notice data and compare the notice with the transfer; the lawyer or conveyancer checks every field in each matter before it is lodged.
AI may
- Extract the contract date, price, property address, lot and plan, and the parties from the contract and title search into a checking sheet
- Compare the notice of sale or Form 24 data with the transfer and the contract and list differences
AI must not
- Must not lodge or certify the notice or the transfer
- Must not decide the property use or other classifications without the lawyer's confirmation
The lawyer checks
- Price and contract date match the contract and the duty assessment
- Property address and land description correct (in NSW, for a transfer of part being road, the new lot and DP rather than the street number)
- Parties match the transfer exactly
