Compare a tool-written will with the office precedent
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Place each topic in the office precedent beside the tool-written document and mark a topic that is missing, extra, or worded differently. Quote both pages. Decide no question of validity.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide whether any difference matters and you write the will that is signed. Probate Code § 6110 requires the writing, the signature, and, unless § 6110(c)(2) is later proved by clear and convincing evidence of intent, two witnesses present at the same time. Section 6100.5 states when the testator is not mentally competent. A match to a precedent is not execution and it is not a capacity finding. Opinion 512 requires you to check the comparison against both documents.
