Reconcile the probate application documents against the file
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each document the draft application names and whether it is in the file, with the page. List documents in the file that the draft does not name. Decide nothing about sufficiency.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide whether the application attaches what the court requires. Probate Code § 8800 requires the inventory and appraisal of property to be administered, and § 9050 requires notice to known or reasonably ascertainable creditors in addition to publication under § 8120. A matched row means the paper is in the file. It does not mean the application is ready to file. Opinion 512 keeps that decision with you.
