Checklist
- Use only the rules on the page checked. It says the pension may be payable for the whole time outside Australia, including a departure to live elsewhere.
- If the person left within two years of returning to live in Australia, check the three conditions the page lists: return to live, pension started after that return, and travel in the next two years. Payment may stop, or may continue for travel to a social security agreement country.
- Do not name an agreement country or a notice period. Those pages were not opened. The portability page was updated on 4 December 2025.
- Keep this separate from the general list of changes that must be reported.
