Key facts
- Human involvement
- GreenLawyer review
- How AI is used
- Make a table with one row per notice, hearing paper, or deposit paper. Columns are the document name, the date printed on it, any period the document itself states, and the addressee. Copy those fields. Do not decide whether a ground is valid or a deduction is allowed.
- What the lawyer must review
- California Civil Code § 1946.2 requires just cause, stated in the written notice, after 12 months of continuous lawful occupation, with a further rule where an adult is added before 24 months. Section 1950.5 requires the itemized security statement and the remainder no later than 21 calendar days after the tenant vacates. The register records dates. You decide whether just cause, an exemption, or a deduction is made out.
