Quote any clause on possession before completion
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Quote the clause, if any, that allows or limits possession before completion, including any fee or condition it states. Do not say possession may be given.
- What the lawyer must review
- You decide whether early possession is permitted. No statute on possession before completion was opened. The clause is the limit this check uses, and you interpret it. A fee printed in the clause is copied. It is not calculated. Model Rule 1.4(b) applies before the client takes or gives possession. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to verify the quote. If the contract has no such clause, the tool says so and does not draft one.
