- How AI is used
- Record the physician's name, the sanction or surrender, and the acts or omissions stated as the reason. Do not add an end date the decision does not contain.
- What the lawyer must review
- 42 U.S.C. § 11132(a) requires a report where a Board of Medical Examiners revokes or suspends or otherwise restricts a physician's licence, or censures, reprimands, or places the physician on probation, for reasons relating to professional competence or professional conduct, or where the licence is surrendered. The information to be reported is the name, a description of the acts or omissions or other reasons if known, and such other information respecting the circumstances as the Secretary deems appropriate. The report is made in accordance with § 11134, which was not opened. 42 U.S.C. § 11133 is the separate duty of a health care entity to report certain privilege actions and then of the Board to pass that information on. You record only what the decision and § 11132 require, and you do not invent an expiry.
