Map the endangered-species consultation for a federal action
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Record whether the papers already name a listed species or critical habitat, and whether they already record a consultation. Do not find that the action will or will not jeopardise a species.
- What the lawyer must review
- 16 USC section 1536(a)(2) requires each federal agency to consult and to insure that any action it authorises, funds, or carries out is not likely to jeopardise the continued existence of a listed species or result in the destruction or adverse modification of critical habitat. The map records what the file already says. You decide whether consultation is required and whether it is finished. A state biodiversity approval is a different statute and was not opened.
