Subsection (5): it does not cease if the worker returned to work but could not remain without a section 224(1) service, or surgery is required, or a prosthesis modification is required, or a section 224(1) service is essential so that health or activities of daily living do not significantly deteriorate.

The WorkSafe treatment-expenses page says WorkSafe can pay the reasonable cost of approved services and that there may be a gap. It does not state the 52-week rule. Use the Act.
Section 224 was not relied on beyond the cross-reference in section 232. No TAC medical-duration end date was opened. Do not write that TAC treatment continues for life or ends on an impairment band.
