Prepare a temporary daily alcohol license for a special event

- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- Complete the firm's checklist from the event facts the lawyer supplies: date, place, beverages and the organization. Do not invent a state form or a fee.
- What the lawyer must review
- Retail licensing is state law under the Twenty-first Amendment. In California, the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control describes license type 31 as a temporary daily license for qualified organizations, and Form ABC-221 must go to the district office for the event location, with the property owner's authorization. The instructions say the form must be received at least 10 days before the event and should not be submitted more than 30 days ahead, and that law-enforcement approval is the applicant's responsibility. Another state's temporary permit is a different form. The lawyer checks the current state instructions before anything is lodged.
