- List the headings printed in the report, with the page, the publisher, and the date. Do not paraphrase a heading into a country-conditions paragraph.
- What the lawyer must review
- The USCIS asylum page says people seek protection because of persecution or a fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion, and that the applicant must be physically present in the United States and not a United States citizen. A heading list is not that claim. Section 1003.102(c) reaches a false statement of material fact or law made knowingly or with reckless disregard. Policy Memorandum 25-40 does not require disclosure of generative tools unless a standing order does. The lawyer writes any narrative that will be filed.
