Place each financial-consent figure on its own line
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each figure the hospital paper, the insurer paper, and the practitioner paper states, with the label that paper uses. Do not say the figures are consistent and do not pick the one that binds.
- What the lawyer must review
- You compare them and you tell the client what the difference means. No financial-consent statute was opened, so a mismatch is not a breach and a match is not compliance. Model Rule 1.4(b) requires an explanation sufficient for the client to decide. 45 CFR § 164.502(a) limits use of protected health information if the papers contain it. Formal Opinion 512 requires you to verify each figure against the page. A figure that is not on a page is not interpolated.
