Index the credentials printed in the practitioner's papers
Key facts
- Human involvement
- YellowClose supervision
- How AI is used
- List each license or certificate the papers name, the board they name, and the dates they print. Do not say a license is current.
- What the lawyer must review
- You verify currency with the issuing board. No national practitioner database was opened, so this index is not a report of what a database contains. Comment 8 to Rule 1.1 and Formal Opinion 512 govern the use of a tool to read the papers. A date that is not printed is not inferred. Model Rule 1.4(b) applies to what you tell the client the papers show.
