Test served accounts against the elements for a restraining order

- How AI is used
- For each served account, mark which facts the account already states about a past act, the date, and the documents attached. Find no fact and write no submission.
- What the lawyer must review
- Family Code section 6300 allows the court to issue an order if an affidavit or testimony, and any additional information under section 6306, shows reasonable proof of a past act or acts of abuse. The court may issue the order based solely on the affidavit or testimony of the person requesting it. The comparison asks whether the served account states those facts. You decide whether it is reasonable proof. The Judicial Council self-help page describes the application. Opinion 512: do not treat a match on the table as the proof.
