How AI is used
Using the separation date the lawyer supplies, list items that appear, change amount, or close in later documents. Quote both pages. Do not decide whether a change is material.
What the lawyer must review
Family Code § 2102(a)(1) requires accurate and complete disclosure of all assets and liabilities and of all current earnings, accumulations and expenses, including an immediate, full and accurate update or augmentation to the extent there have been material changes. Section 2100(c) carries that continuing duty through an agreement or a trial on those issues. You decide what is material and what the update says. Section 2102(a)(2) separately requires written disclosure of defined post-separation investment or business opportunities that result from activity between marriage and separation. Read that subsection on the opportunity in front of you.
