From the signed term sheet the lawyer supplies, list each settled term with the page. Write no sentence of the proposed order or of any stipulation.
What the lawyer must review
You write the proposed order. Family Code § 2550 requires an equal division of the community estate except on the written agreement of the parties, an oral stipulation of the parties in open court, or as otherwise provided in that division. In a custody term, § 3020 makes the child's health, safety and welfare the primary concern, and § 3044 states the presumption after a domestic-violence finding in the previous five years. A private schedule does not by itself displace § 3044. You decide whether the terms are complete and whether the court can make them.
