How AI is used
From the facts brief, list the harm described, whether the brief says notice was given, and any security the brief mentions. Write no motion, no proposed order, and no verified paper.
What the lawyer must review
You write the motion. In federal court, Rule 65(a)(1) allows a preliminary injunction only on notice to the adverse party. Rule 65(b)(1) allows a temporary restraining order without written or oral notice only if specific facts in a verified paper clearly show that immediate and irreparable injury, loss, or damage will result before the adverse party can be heard, and the movant's attorney certifies in writing the efforts to give notice and why it should not be required. An order issued without notice expires at the time the court sets, not to exceed 14 days, unless the court extends it for good cause for a like period or the adverse party consents. Rule 65(c) requires security in an amount the court considers proper, except for the United States, its officers, and its agencies. This rule is not a California family-court freezing order. Family Code § 2040 did not yield operative text. Open the state court's rule before you use this list there.
