- How AI is used
- Build a dated chronology with a page cite for each event, and a list of the issues named in the existing orders and filings. Write no sentence of the brief or of any paper that will be filed.
- What the lawyer must review
- The submission is yours. The California 2026 guidance says candor to the tribunal cannot be delegated, and Opinion 512 keeps the judgment with you. In a custody dispute, Family Code § 3020 makes the child's health, safety and welfare the court's primary concern. You decide what the submission argues. Rule 11 applies when you sign a paper in federal court.
